Coming with the BDX Insulation Collar, BFX Underfelt Collar and the Flashing, this set is suitable for roof pitches between 15 and 90 degrees and can be used with standard installation heights for slate thicknesses between 5-8mm.

The BDX Insulation Collar has been designed with draft proofing in mind, this flexible collar made of polyethylene foam fits around the roof window frame and sits between the frame and the roofing material to improve insulation performance. Quick and easy to install, simply sliding over the window frame before the flashing is fitted, the BDX insulation collar is an accessory that can improve the insulation performance of VELUX roof windows, helping to reduce heat loss and prevent condensation.

The BFX Underfelt Collar helps prevents any water or moisture from entering the roof space around the window, it sits between the frame and the roofing material to ensure a tight seal between the flashing and the roof, preventing any water or moisture from entering the roof space around the window.
