GLL256/257 Multi Section Loft Ladders are a cost effective simple solution to loft door access when combined with Manthorpe drop-down loft access doors.
The robust two or three section aluminium ladders are compact, lightweight and easy to fit.
The ladders are designed with deep non-slip treads, a metal safety catch preventing premature drop during sliding ladder operation, and rubber feet for extra stability.
A complete fitting accessory pack and fitting instructions are supplied with each ladder including an operating pole.
GLL256 is a two section ladder and GLL257 comes in three sections.

Ensure a minimum loft height clearance of 710mm and a minimum loft floor clearance of 1270mm.
Assemble the ladder and mounting brackets together. Fix the "L-shaped" legs of the bracket onto the inside face of the loft surround, if the loft is boarded or the loft door insulation is over 100mm deep, additional timbers may need to be added to raise up the mounting point of the ladder.
