Description
A nonwoven recycled polyester geotextile fabric for use in the green roof system buildup. It is installed as a filtration and separation layer between the drainage membrane of the green roof and the waterproofing membrane.
The recycled polyester material is available in 300 gsm density and should be loose laid over the waterproofing / insulation / deck surface before installation of the green roofing. Overlap the sheets by at least 20cm at each joint.
Recycled polyester is an environmentally friendly, cost-effective solution for soil stabilisation, filtration projects and lower level protection. It has a lower tensile strength than virgin fibre polypropylene fabrics

Hello - am I right in thinking that if we buy your sedum/wildflower module system along with this membrane and the aluminium edging, we would need to buy both a waterproofing membrane and a drainage membrane separately (ie, elsewhere?). Do you have installation instructions I can share with my builder?
Hi, the roof needs to already be waterproofed and structurally sound, then all you need to do is lay geotextile and the trays on top.
You can have a look at the suppliers installation guide by clicking here.

Hello, I was wondering weather this product was used in inverted roof construction, to go over the XPS insulation boards? So it slows water through.
This product is intended to be used as a root barrier for green roofs, or to protect a water proof membrane against penetration before the used of decking pedestals and similar. There is no certification for this item to be used in the way described.
